Rotary Club of Ankeny Receives DG Citation

There are 64 Rotary clubs in District 6000.   District Governor Loring Miller presented 19 of these clubs including, The Rotary Club of Ankeny, with a "District Governor Citation" during the 2016 District Conference.  Some of the activities required to receive the DG Citation include: The Club President and Secretary must utilize "My Rotary" on the Rotary International web site, achieve a net gain of at least two members including one female, attain a minimum contribution of $100 per member to the Rotary Foundation, have club records integrated with Rotary International records, have at least one member attend a grant management seminar, sponsor an Interact Club, update our club web site, and share our club achievments utilizing local media.   Nate Burnham accepted this award on behalf of the club.
