During it's meeting on December 14th, the Board decided on the three paddle raisers to be offered at the 2018 fundraiser, Rotary Olympics. They will be World Bicycle Relief, Puppy Jake, and the Ankeny School Lunch Relief. The World Bicycle Relief is one of the projects Mike Ruby has promoted during his year as our District Governor and mobilizes people through the power of bicycles. Dependable bikes help students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs access essential goods and services. Puppy Jake is dedicated to help wounded American military veterans with the assistance of well-bred and professionally trained service dogs. The Ankeny School lunch program is in need of $35,000 to $38,000 to continue to offer free lunch to kids of families in need.
