Donation to Heroes Hunting Foundation Approved

At their meeting on January 12th, the Board for the Rotary Club of Ankeny approved a donation in the amount of $500 for the Heroes Hunting Foundation.   The Foundation is a Grimes based charity with a mission to utilize the peace of the outdoors, the comfort of an understanding peer, and a media outlet, if desired, to assist veterans with the reintegration process after returning home from deployment.  This donation will aid in financing a spring snow goose hunt for 8 veterans.
