Donation Completed to Puppy Jake

One of the paddle raisers at the Rotary Club of Ankeny's 2017 fundraiser, "Mardi Gras", was the Puppy Jake Foundation.  This Foundation provides service dogs to perform tasks and provide companionship for American veterans with disabilities, all at no cost to the veteran or their families.  The estimated cost of each service dog is between $18,000 to $20,000.   A check in the amount of $4,530 was presented to Amy Miller and Tim Cox during the noon meeting on March 7th for the proceeds of this paddle raiser.   In the picture, from left to right is "Warner", his foster parent, Amy Miller, Rotary Club of Ankeny President, Carmen Davis, and Tim Cox, also a foster parent for a Puppy Jake dog.
