District Governor Knapp Makes Official Visit to Ankeny

District Governor Chris Knapp and his Rotary Partner Vernette made their official visit to both the noon Rotary Club of Ankeny and the Evening club on August 23rd.   Prior to the noon meeting they met with the Board.   During the meeting DG Knapp reminded everyone of training opportunities for officers and all Rotarians and presented his goals for the year.  He also suggested we review our By-Laws in light of some changes implemented by the Rotary Council on Legislation.  These include more flexibility on member classifications, attendance guidelines, and increased transparency.
