Well... Today we received the frustrating news that the hospital has not even received the paperwork/instructions from the insurance company for the third appeal. Unbelievable! The appeal process has not even begun & we find this out a week later? I have just about reached my boiling point. In the meantime, Damon has been getting stronger slowly & has felt good. He will still have IV feedings for 3 more weeks in hopes of the colon fistula healing. His spirits are ok, but obviously frustrated & needing a change. Please pray for SOMETHING to happen in the next couple of days...this holding pattern is getting old.
