Damon Miller Remains in Hospital

We have received news that Damon Miller will most likely remain in the hospital for another three weeks.  He has been in and out of intensive care and has had a procedure to drain fluid in the pockets of his stomach.  This has allowed him to breath better and his oxygen level has improved.  Keep the  prayers and well wishes coming for Damon and has family.  Caringbridge.org is the site to receive updates on Damon's progress.

The Rotary Club of Ankeny's Board has approved a $500 gift certificate for a home cleaning service for the Miller family.   If they already have a cleaning service, we can help with the cost or they could choose to increase the service.  Also, on Tuesday, August 2nd, we will be collecting gift cards for meals, restaurants, and gasoline to be delivered to the Miller family.   If you would like to donate, please bring a gift card, or two, to next Tuesday's meeting or bring cash and we will purchase the cards.
