Seventeen Ankeny Rotarians assisted City of Ankeny employees in unloading cars and pickups during Ankeny Clean Up Days May 20th and 21st. Donations collected was the most ever and totaled $2,118.22. This compares to $1,932, $1,953 and $1,880 collected the past three years. There were also a record number of vehicles, 1,219 that were unloaded during the two days. That is an average of 101/hour despite the cool rainy weather. Thank you to all the Rotarian that helped and to Justin Carlton for his leadership on this project.
