The Rotary Club of Ankeny received a $500 donation for volunteering again this year at Ankeny Chamber's Summerfest Grand Parade. This marks the 23rd year the Rotary Club of Ankeny has been a key partner in bringing the parade to the city. Each year, approximately 30 Rotarians arrive at 5:45 AM on parade day to check in, organize, and release floats on to the two-mile parade route. Each year, more than 18,000 residents and their guests gather to watch the parade.
