Abbi Rickelman Named "New Member of the Year"

Abbi Rickelman was recognized at the meeting on July 5th as the Rotary Club of Ankeny's "New Member of the Year".  Stacey Koeppen, the 2015 "New Member of the Year" made the presentation.  Abbi joined the Rotary Club of Clayton, North Carolina on February 3, 2014.   She transferred her membership and joined the Rotary Club of Ankeny on March 24, 2015.   Since then, she has been active in service projects including Ankeny Clean Up Days, Biker Night, Friday morning coffees, and the new member social.  She has been a volunteer assistant golf coach for both the Centennial and Ankeny High schools and has volunteered for several local charities.
